"I like to change my oil four times a year, roughly every five thousand miles. There's many different brands of oil, and oil filters on the market. Whenever I change the oil, I always change the oil filter, and the air filter. In your upcoming winters, I like to do everything I can for protection of my car. Hopefully, I won't have to do no maintenance on the car during the winter months by being that one step ahead. Change the filter with a good quality filter, the oil with a good quality filter, using whatever recommended velocity the manufacturer calls for. You want to stay with the same recommended velocity the vehicle manufacturer calls for. On your newer cars, if you don't, it could void your warranty."
