"All right, in this section of butterfly stroke I'm going to show you how you actually rotate your shoulders now. This is going to be step five. We just covered the breathing, so that way you know. But for the rotation of the shoulders, it's a little tricky to learn at first, but really all it is--you're body's like this, you're moving like an S with the dolphin kick, and you're going to bring your arms basically out like you're going to hug someone, but then when you go into the water, it's almost like diving in. So, you'll bring your arms in, your palms are touching, and then you're just going to do an S form under the water with your shoulders. So, your shoulders will meet when the top of your hands end up joining together at the top, and it's almost like a dive in. So, here we go, full picture. You go in, shoulders touch, your head's in the water, and then you form an S shape, and when you come up you'll take a quick breath. And again. So here's the shoulders, bam, just like that, then you do an S. So, shoulders, S, shoulders, S. And your shoulders are definitely going to be the majority of muscles that you'll be using in the butterfly stroke. In fact, if you guys were to watch the Olympics or watch any swimmers, most of the time you can actually tell who swims butterfly stroke because your shoulders will definitely build muscle. That's completely what you're using, along with your legs together when you're doing a dolphin kick. So it's definitely a lot of shoulder movement. And you go in with the shoulders again. And you go in with the shoulders again. So you're really going to have to learn how to relax those and bring them in together. Okay, this is the continuation of when you rotate your shoulders, and as you'll see me swim here in a bit, you're really going to pay attention to my shoulders as they come in. So the shoulders are going to end up coming in like this. And you don't really want to have them straight out. You just want to come in and meet together, join, and then you're just going to pull out. So let me show you."
