"A psychic now, in this day and age, is acceptable. When i was a little girl and very psychic, it was not. Even in 1971 people didn't know there were signs or whatever. A psychic, it's like well, what is a pianist? Like Liberachi who can play the piano without even a lesson. This is something that I felt being very, when you are very dyslexic and it's not so bad being dyslexic because dyslexic people psychic and artistic. But, when you are very dyslexic you use another, like it's animal instinct. You are always guarded by angels or someone that has just passed over. All my grandchildren are psychic and anyone can be. Usually when you've had a tragedy it comes through very clearly. People keep saying to me "how can I talk to someone they've passed away" like Phoebe Snow, it's the same thing she asked me. I said ask question and turn on your radio and through the music, you'll get an answer. I didn't know what psychic was. As a kid, the phone would ring and before it would ring and I'd say "mom Aunt Reed is calling" and Aunt Reed would call and my mother would give me a shot in the head. And it was always like that. My grandmother was always saying "don't hit her in the head, don't hit her in the head." But, it's wonderful being psychic and all my kids are. It means you're clairvoyant, you feel things before they happen. Businessman think it's a gut feeling. That's what it is. Psychic is a scary word. So, I always used an extra natural sense of perception."
