A nutritionist makes different amounts of money depending on what sector of the field you are in. In private practice a nutritionist can make anywhere from, some where around thirty five to forty thousand dollars up into a hundred thousand or more depending on what kind of practice you are able to provide. What kind of services that you provide. Other nutritionists say working in a hospital which have to be licensed nutritionist and registered dietitians will make some where usually starting around a forty thousand dollar mark and usually max out some where around the eighty thousand dollar mark if you, you know get a couple of promotions in your career. Starting salaries I can say in the state of Florida for registered dietitians in a hospital setting are usually right in the low forties, forty thousand dollars. In nursing home settings actually the dietitians make a little bit more, they usually start right around forty six to forty eight thousand dollars a year. If you work in other capacities like in a doctor's office or you know weight loss program, you can start anywhere around as a consultant usually those programs hire us as consultants at somewhere around twenty to thirty dollars an hour. The earning potential of a nutritionist is really unlimited because people need nutrition in their lives, they need to find better ways to get healthy and they are really searching so if you are working with supplements, that's one way to increase your earning capacity in developing residual income through supplements sales. You can if you are very, very good and able to incorporate other forms of health care, including homeopathy and herbalism and muscle testing and all different modes of nutrition and kind of holistic health, earning capacity is truly unlimited. This field of nutrition is a very rapidly growing field, not just in the United States but across the world because of the, the movement of processed foods in all the other countries in the world.
