Video Transcript

"In this clip we're going to talk about how to become a bounty hunter. A bounty hunter first of all takes a very courageous and caring person to be able to go out and seek, assault, follow, apprehend fugitives because that's what you're looking for - fugitives. Unlike a police position where you get called to the crimes and you seek, your investigations determine what occurred. A bounty hunter is someone who needs to be educated and trained and be able to be in physical shape because you're in positions where you don't have law enforcement credentials but you have a lot of power. You have a lot of power because you're enforcing laws that no other person enforces. You have guidelines that law enforcement officers don't have and in some states you carry guns and in other states you don't. But what you need to do is if you want to become a bounty hunter is contact your local state where you live. Seek your information offline, fill out an application, get your license and once you get your license then you get your certification and you get your training."
