"As a police officer, it's not always serious and that's it. We do have fun here. We joke around, we have fun. But, one of the times, one of the officers, it was a new officer, we got with the dispatchers, and I wasn't involved - I heard it secondhand. But the officers got their dispatch and said, "We're going. Make sure our GPS units are working in our car." And so the dispatcher is to go to each officer that was working that night or that afternoon. It said, "Are you at this location?" And they were to say, "Yes, I was working or I'm at that location." So they went through each officer and each officer said, "Yes, I'm at this location." The new officer, they asked if he was at this loca...a certain location, he said that he wasn't. And so what they had to do, they had him over on the side of the road, and as he's over on the side of the road, one of the officers said, "Try backing up with your lights on." And so he backed up a little, 10 feet, with his lights on, and then had him pull forward, and that didn't work. And so then they said, "Okay, maybe try your lights. So, he has his overhead lights on, backing up 10 feet, pulling forward 10 feet. And then it went to the, as far as, "Turn your siren on and pull forward and back 10 feet." And, so finally this officer's been doing all that pulling forward and back 10 feet or so, whatever it was, and then he realized that it was just a joke. And, he wasn't too happy about it. But we joke around, we have fun, and that's important with any career is to have fun with your job. And if you can't have fun, you know what, there's lots of jobs out there you can have fun with. And, because have fun in life, but you don't have to be always serious because then that gets frustrating. But have fun, in law enforcement, or whatever your career may be. But hopefully, as a police officer, have a sense of humor, have fun, and enjoy it."
