"Some of the better, the finer parts of this job, the pros part of it, is you start a case and you walk through and you what limited information you have you take it from the start to the finish and you get an arrest. You get the property back for the person or you solve the crime, that's a big pro and that makes it fun, able to help out someone. And try to clean up the streets the best you can. So that's a huge plus and we can help people all the time whether it's find missing children that are lost. And help out families that way, whatever we do that's usually a plus. Some of the cons on the job are when we go to a traffic accident and you see people hurt things like that. That's something that's tough or you see, we see things that the most people don't see and so that, that sometimes can be tough. On the family when you see people going through tough times and going through a bad situation, some of these people through my career is you see them, they have everything going for them in life and then you see them they get on drugs and they lose everything. They lose their job, they lose their family all to drugs and then they are out on the streets and that's something that sad but it's something that, that's out there. And as a police officer you can help those people by arresting them or put them in jail and then maybe that's what wakes them up and they realize you know what, I messed up and I need to change my life and so that's, that can be another, one of the pros on this job. Also some of the pros and cons, depending is we're, we are always with Pleasant Grove we are on a rotation and every two months we change our schedule. So one of the pros is that we have different days off. Which can also be a con if you want to take a vacation and all your days are on a certain day and that's when you want to do stuff then that can be a bad thing. But it also can be a good thing because when everybody else is off, you're working and you can go do something different in the middle of the week and it will be less crowded. So there's pros and cons, it's a fun career and so long as your willing to have a shift changes and work different shifts and it's on."
