"Well, executive protection agents typically start out making anywhere from twenty dollars to fifty, sixty dollars an hour. Depending on their assignment. Depending on their prior level of expertise. But if they are coming into the field, the normal starting hourly rate is about twenty to thirty, thirty five dollars an hour at this time. The earning potential of the typical executive protection agent could be anywhere from fifty thousand to a hundred and fifty thousand or more a year. As far as the field growing, this field is a field right now where there is a plethora of individuals attempting to get into the field. There is a demand for executive protection work. However, whether or not you are able to secure the work, whether or not you are able to close a contract with a client, depends greatly on your experience, your experience level, your background, your expertise, your credentials. A lot of issues come into play here. In regard to the various types of, methods of compensation, individuals in this field could be paid hourly as a freelance agent. You could secure a permanent contract and work for someone on a proprietary basis for an agreed salary. You could be working for an agreed salary to a contractor. An executive protection service provider. There is a multitude of ways that you can be compensated in the field. My sense is that the best compensation, the highest compensation is going to be for the experienced freelancer."
