"And reach your arms back. That's it, keep coming. Good, good. Excellent! Thank you. I'll tell you about an experience I had, just a week ago. I was out at dinner. And a former patient of mine, came up to me. And this particular patient had had amputations, beneath both knees. And she was devastated at the time, that it happened. And she came up to me and she was walking and she was healthy and she was happy, again. And that was just the highlight of my career, of my life. And it was one of those moments that made me think, gee! I'm really glad, I'm a doctor. You know, I think, the ability to help people. I was once told that contributing to other people's needs, is one of the greatest joys. That any of us can find or experience. And as a physician, you do that every single day. And it does bring great satisfaction to know, that your work is really meaningful. It makes a huge impact on people's lives. And not only your patients but on their families and the people that they love. I can't see myself doing anything else."
