How to budget for gas is the best way to look at this expense is to look at your overall budget. And gas is a critical factor. Because gas has gone up and your wages necessarily have not gone up, you may want to consider car pooling, you may want to also consider traveling less to maintain the same amount of money in your budget so that you'll have enough money for savings as well. As gas prices go up, make sure to cut back on your driving consumption and cost share ride where you can.
