"Hello my name is Lori Randall and I'm with Simply Divine Events and I am a wedding planner. I have been planning weddings and events for 10 years. I am going to talk about how to incorporate entertainment and kind of come up with some entertainment ideas into your casual beach themed cocktail hour. Instead of just thinking of music you can kind of think a little bit outside the box when you are thinking about your cocktail hour. Think about entertaining, entertainment in general, entertaining your guests as you are taking your pictures and they are mingling and drinking and eating. Maybe think about having a fire eater which would be kind of pretty cool I think, having a fire eater doing a little display or maybe even if you are going with the whole Hawaiian Polynesian theme you might want to have some Polynesian dancers there. And maybe they could even be greeting your guests as they are coming from your ceremony location into your cocktail hour and holding leis and passing them on to you and kind of welcoming you into the cocktail hour. And then maybe right before they enter into the reception they could do a quick little number for you and then maybe even incorporate a fire eater if you wanted to maybe bring them in as well. If you don't want to get that elaborate and do that sort of thing you can do just like a Reggae band. You can carry your steel drummer over from your ceremony area and bring him into your cocktail hour. So you are kind of not paying two people and he can just do two hours versus one hour and you can even just have your band if you are having a band, they can play or a DJ. Then if you really want to get kind of different or kind of casual you might want to have kind of like that boardwalk theme with the beach boardwalk theme and maybe have a character artist who might be there doing characters for your guests while you are waiting to go into your ceremony site. Or you might want to think of something like board walk entertainer's mimes or that sort of thing and just kind of tying it all together fortune tellers. So those are some tips and ideas on entertainment for your cocktail hour of your casual beach themed wedding."
