"Hello, my name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events. And I am a wedding planner. I've been planning weddings and events for 10 year. Next I'm going to talking about tips on choosing music for your casual beach themed wedding. A few tips that you might want to do. Some people just have- you think about your music, you're thinking of maybe an organist in your church, or you're thinking some sort of musician that way. But when you're on a beach you might kind of get stuck and say, what do I do for my ceremony music. And some thinks I would like to recommend to you would be having a steel drummer, that's very beachy, very casual. You might also want to have maybe a guitarist, and maybe even a Spanish guitarist, if you kind of have that little bit of flare to it. You can do even a violinist, or a trumpet player. Those are just some of the things you can kind of think about if you're looking for a live musician. You can also do, have your DJ even set up a second sound system, or your ceremony site is not too far from your cocktail hour. Or your reception, they might just wire a speaker out there, and be able to play music for you as well. Some people have even used their iPods or just boom boxes for music is an idea to. One thing I would like to, one tip I'd like to give you, or kind of keep in mind when you're hiring musicians when you're outdoors, is make sure there's a backup, or there's some sort of cover, like an umbrella. Steel drummers sometimes don't like to be in the direct sunlight, so you might want to think about having something like that available for them. Or some sort of shelter if it does start to sprinkle. Or if it's windy and the sea breeze brings some water over to their instruments, because they want to protect their instruments as well. So those are some tips on choosing your ceremony music for a casual beach wedding."
