Beach-Themed Wedding Planning: Programs

"Hello my name is Lori Randall with Simply Divine Events, and I am a wedding planner, and I've been planning weddings and events for 10 years. Next I'm going to talk about is, how to incorporate your beach theme wedding into your wedding program. There's different things you can do for your wedding program. You can add raffia to your wedding program, which is kind of, gets that beachy kind of casual look. You can also, kind of have a motif, like say your invitations had a sand dollar, or a starfish or a shell on it, you're going to want to carry your same look and same feel from your invitation over to your wedding program. So it just kind of all flows seamlessly throughout the evening. And you also, another idea you might want to do is get some fans. Since you're going to be outside on the beach, most likely it's going to be hot, you're going to want to maybe have some fans, and you can actually attach your wedding program onto those fans, so it's kind of a nice little favor, keep sake as well as they're getting the information, and having the actual program on the fan. Some other things that you can do would be basically, not- this one here is a little fancy, you don't really have to have the overlay, it's something you can just print yourself on your computer, and just print it up and maybe just clip a little piece of beach theme art to your wedding program as well. So those are some tips on keeping your casual beach theme, going along with your wedding program."
