"Hello. My name is Lori Randall, with Simply Divine Events, and I'm a wedding planner. I've been planning weddings and events for ten years. I'm going to talk abut how to plan a casual beach wedding. And the first thing that I'm going to talk about is how to incorporate your casual beach theme into your invitation. For an example, a way to incorporate your theme would be to be using words and verses that might reflect the beach or the ocean. For an example, here on this invitation: "As unique as a sea shell, as deep as the sea, as eternal as the waves." So basically, as you're talking about your invitation, you're talking and getting the guest that you're inviting a little bit of insight of how your wedding is going to be. You're basically setting the tone, and setting the theme for the wedding starting out with your invitation. And here on this invitation here we cut a little bit of raffia to kind of beach it up a little bit, but not too beach-y, but not too elegant. Keep it a little casual. You can also add little starfish or shell motif to your invitation, or sand dollars. You can even do something, if you want to get a little more elaborate, and unique, could be a little more costly, but you might want to do a message in a bottle. Actually do a bottle and wrap your invitation in that, or even coming up with a little box, maybe putting sand in it, and some sea shells, and lay your invitation on that. Maybe if you have smaller weddings, something you can hand deliver if you don't want to pay for the postage for something like that. But it's just different ways to set the tone for you wedding and incorporate your theme into your invitation."
