"Chest pops. You are saying what does that have to do with posture? One is it is a fun way, it is a dance inspired move that I use for postural correctiveness and postural awareness. So they are not easy but they are fun once you master them. The idea for the chest pop is to squeeze the back muscles and then squeezing the upper abs. Now I am going to try with both but I am going to recommend that if you are having a hard time especially with the upper abs just try the back first. But the idea here is not a shoulder move but a chest move and what you are doing is you are popping the chest or elevating the chest by pressing the back muscles in and downward. So you are pressing and releasing, pressing and releasing. If you ever wonder how Shakira does it, this is the trick. You guys out there if you are watching, stop watching and try it because it is good for your back as well and it might not look as pretty but it is good for you. So you want to try to pop by squeezing the back. Now squeezing the inner, I'm sorry the upper abs brings the chest in so out, in, out, in so it's your ribs moving and not your shoulders so try it, who knows it might make you a better dancer out there and people will wonder what you are doing and you don't have to tell them that you are sneaking in to watch me on the web so try it out."
