"Hello I'm Sifu Mallon of the Clearwater Kung Fu Center. This is my assistant Melissa and this is kick boxing. The technique we are going to be working on is called our lead low round kick. So again lead meaning whatever foot I have in front of me, low describing how and where the kick is pointing to or the target where it is delivered to. This is an excellent kick for you to develop your round kick so you are not worrying about lifting our leg too high so the flexibility problem is not really the issue right now. So we started from our fighting stance. I will demonstrate it for you nice and at a normal speed. My hands are up and my body is ready, loose, my rear foot is going to come up and as my rear foot comes up my body turns and my weight goes to this leg. I'm going to push the foot from here and I'm going to fire the foot out in a low round kick. This kick is a hinging kick so I'm going to lift and straighten the foot out, step down and step back, normal speed. You'll notice my upper body is still looking forward boom, but my lower body hips turn, throw the kick and this is using the side of your body. Melissa come forward and let's go through this nice and easy for everybody. Slide back with the front foot, okay here this foot is going to turn back a little bit more that's it and now bend the knee and face ourself out that means the basing of your whole body is on this base. The leg is going to extend bending and shooting outward, bring it in, step down and back. Now this kick since you are not impacting anything you don't need to put a tremendous amount of tension into your snap. This means that you don't want to over snap your knee joint so you can go ahead and go kick down and back. Perfect, one more, very good. This is using our lead low round kick, kick boxing."
