Beach Themed Wedding Entertainment

"Hi. I'm Jessica Meiczinger with Simply Divine Events, a wedding planning company. And, I just want to talk about some ideas of entertainment for your elegant beach themed cocktail reception for your wedding. One thing you can do, is if you're having a steel drummer for your ceremony you could carry that over onto your cocktail reception. It's just a nice light background music, sets the tone for the rest of the evening. Another option, is you could do if you want to liven it up a little bit you could do a Jimmy Buffet-esque style band and have them play a couple sets of Jimmy Buffet's favorites. And, then also another idea is if you want to just keep it elegant you could just do a string trip. You could do an acoustical guitarist, just to kind of just have a little bit of background music. If you want to do some entertainment, some specialty entertainment you could always go with Polynesian dancers. You could do a fire eater. That's another thing to get guests attention during the cocktail hour and keeps them guessing of what's going to happen next at the reception. So, those are just some ideas on choosing entertainment for your elegant beach cocktail reception."
