Garden-Themed Wedding: Money Saving Tips

"Hi my name is Jessica Meiczinger with Simply Divine Events and I'm here to talk about money saving tips when planning a garden themed wedding. First of all when you start off with your ceremony you can actually save a lot of money by getting married in a garden because you have the natural grounds as a backdrop for your ceremony itself. So you don't need a lot of floral or foliage to cover up wall space or hide tables or fixtures in a regular church or a reception hall. Another idea is to instead of carrying a whole bouquet of flowers have the girls carry down just a single flower which looks really nice too. Another money saving tip for favors, what you can do is actually buy floral seeds in bulk and just get little organza bags and tie a little tag around them and you know make your own favors and it saves you a lot of money there. Another idea is to grow your own plants and pot them yourself and that saves you time and money in buying them or at your reception instead of having it in the evening have it during the day. You can do a brunch or a lunch and that is going to cost you half, usually half as opposed to paying for a full dinner. And also it keeps your bar costs down too because a lot of people drink lighter during the day or you can do a whole non-alcoholic luncheon or brunch and just offer nice teas, punches, and flavored coffees. So those are just some ideas on how to save money when planning a garden themed wedding."
