"Low rider, oh! Hi there. Sorry. I love the music. I get carried away. I'm Marvelous Marvin, professionally trained disc jockey. I've been a radio DJ for thirty years. I've been a mobile DJ for thirty years, and that's why I can do this with my fingers and not poke my eye out with the microphone. Now the microphone comes in handy when you're introducing the bride and groom, the bridal party. You want to get, before the event starts, the list of the folks you're going to introduce. Here's how that works. Basically, traditionally, it's the same way they came down the aisle when they get married. Starting at the parents of the bride and groom, then you got the flower maids, you have a da-tee-da. You know it's really, it's up to them. There's no traditions anymore. That's the basic idea. You tell your client, "Listen, you need to be introduced the way you came down the aisle, and I need the introduction as soon as possible." I mean, I've gotten introductions five minutes before I introduce people. Well that's OK, but who needs that? Get it in advance. Have it spelled phonetically, and you stand there and you introduce them. You know, practice a few times by yourself. If you have any questions about any pronunciations, the worst thing you can do is mispronounce somebody's name, and you know you did it because people will be laughing, people will be going "oh!". You just don't want to do that, especially the bride and groom's names. You want to, want to, really pronounce them correctly, because one of their parents is paying you. The introduction, very important, when you start the reception, you want to bring them in. That sets the tone for the whole night. I'm Marvelous Marvin, a mobile DJ, and you can be a DJ too, as long as you get those directions right, and don't get this in the eye with the microphone. Don't do that. No. Don't."
