"Oh, hi there. Ah, man I love those Andrews Sisters. Can't get enough of them. And let me tell you, I know you are thinking, I want to be a DJ. Listen, that's what I wanted to be. I'm Marvelous Marvin. Professionally trained DJ. I mean actuallyI went to school for this. I know it is pretty funny. But you don't need to go to school to be a DJ. I mean how do you get started being a DJ? I tell you what, the best thing you could do is find a DJ. You could look in the Yellow Pages. Go on-line. Find some mobile DJ's, call them up. Say, "Hey, do you need somebody to carry equipment for you?". Trust me DJ's are lazy. They are always going to say yes. You want to go hang out with one. You want to carry his equipment. Ask him questions. Watch what he does. And think about, could I do that? Is that for me? And then maybe the DJ won't be available for a gig, and then you got it. And all of a sudden before you know it, you are a DJ. Its that simple. That's one of the ways to do it. The best thing, find a DJ. Hang around him. Soak up as much information as you can. That's how you learn by doing. I mean like I say, I went to broadcasting school. It was ok. I got kicked out. Can't talk about that, at least not till, you know, my parole. But aside from all that, yea. That's how you get started. Find a DJ. Hang out with him. I'm Marvelous Marvin, happy to be here talking about being a mobile DJ."
