"Oh, Excuse me. I love those Real Big Fish, man they're great, can't get enough of them. Hi, I'm Marvelous Marvin professionally trained disc jockey. And maybe you want to be a DJ too? I know you can do it. I've been a DJ for thirty years. All kinds of parties. On the radio. But why? Here's the big question, why do you want to be a DJ? If you want to be a DJ because you love really cool music, and you want to share your really cool music, and your good taste with the rest of the world. Forget it. That's not what its about. Its about playing what other people want to hear. So you learn to develop professional taste. Sure you've got personal taste, and you can listen to the Osmonds any time you want, but when you do parties, when you are on the radio. You play what other people want. That's why they hire you. So if you want to be a DJ to share your great music and show off how much you know about music, that's not it. You want to please people. You want to play music they like. Doesn't matter if you like it or not. Chances are, you hate it. That doesn't enter into it. That's not what its about. Its about making people happy. Why do you want to be a DJ? You want to entertain. You want to play music that other people will like. That's why you're getting paid. That's why I'm professionally trained. Professional means get paid. Remember this above every thing else, be professional. I'm Marvelous Marvin. And yea you can be a DJ. And that's why you want to do it."
