"American Flag etiquette and the rules concerning the display of our nation's Flag are something that every American should become thoroughly familiar with. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni with over three decades of Firefighting, Honor Guard, and E.M.S. experience. The rules concerning our nation's Flag when used as a carrying device, go strictly against the etiquette of the American Flag. The American Flag is considered to be a living thing, and should be flown upright and flown freely. The American Flag should never be used as a carrying device to hold or to deliver anything. The American Flag should not be held below any object or thing. When used as a carrying device, that's exactly what's occurring with the American Flag. It should not be used to carry, hold, or deliver any type of object, that would go against American Flag etiquette and the rules concerning Old Glory. I'm Captain Joe Bruni, stay safe, we'll see you again sometime."
