"American flag etiquette, and the rules of our nation's flag, is something that every American should become thoroughly familiar with. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni, with over three decades of firefighting and E.M.S. experience. What I want to discuss and talk about, with flag etiquette, is the American flag and the rules for advertising. The American flag should never be used for advertising purposes. It should also never be imprinted upon any device, cardboard box, napkin, paper plate, or any other such devices like this consumer firework, that is going to be destroyed or flown away. The American flag is considered a living thing. Any time it is imprinted upon any type of item that is going to be discarded or thrown away, this goes against American flag etiquette and the rules of the American flag. The American flag is meant to be flown freely and not printed upon any type of advertising package, or used on any type of device that is going to be discarded or thrown away. I'm Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe, and we'll see you next time."
