"American Flag etiquette, and the rules of our nation's flag, when it comes to public display, is something that every American should be thoroughly familiar with. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni, with over three decades of firefighting and EMS experience. Our nation's flag when carried on a staff by an individual, who is displaying and holding the staff and flag, should keep in mind, that the staff should be held vertical, at all times. The flag should never be dipped to any person or thing, and the flag should never be flown upside down from this staff, except in times of distress, and severe danger. American Flag Etiquette, and the rules of our nation's flag, is something that many Americans need to become familiar with, so they don't make the common mistakes, that we see across our nation, when it comes to the display of our nation's flag, or Old Glory. Again, the flag should never be dipped to any person or thing, but held vertical on the staff, at all times. I'm Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe, and we'll see you next time."
