"You know sparklers and fireworks can add fun to any party event or holiday. Hi I'm Captain Joe Bruni with over three decades of firefighting and EMS experience. What we are going to talk about is fireworks and sparkler safety. Before purchasing any consumer fireworks such as sparklers or other types of consumer fireworks please check with your local police department, fire department, or a quick internet search as to what is legal in every state. Every state has their own laws pertaining to consumer fireworks. Some states do not allow purchase of consumer fireworks even the simple sparkler is not legal by law. Please check with the police department, fire department or a quick internet search as to what is legal and what is not when it comes to purchase of consumer fireworks. I'm Captain Joe Bruni see you next time and stay safe."
