"You know, public displays of fireworks occur every year during the holiday season, especially the Fourth of July. I'm Captain Joe Bruno, with over thirty decades of fire fighting and EMS experience. What we're going talk about is consumer fireworks and the public display. Thousands of Americans every year attend public displays of fireworks in our communities across America. Consumer types of fireworks, like the common sparkler and other types of consumer type of fireworks should never be taken to the public display. Public displays of fireworks are in close proximity to other people, with large numbers of crowds. People are too close to partake in any type of use of consumer fireworks at these public displays. It is common to see people show up at public displays with the common sparkler. Sparklers burn from 1,100 to 1,800 degrees, and emit showers of sparks that are very hot. With this close proximity into people with the public display, it's never a good idea or a safe operating practice to take something as simple as the cons consumer firework or the common sparkler to the public display. I'm Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe, and we'll see ya' next time."
