Hi, I'm Johanna, and this is Karen. And we're here from Hip Expressions Belly Dance Studio in St. Petersburg Florida. Lets take our rocking undulation and travel to the side, leading with our left foot, and add our sloping arms. So, our left foot is forward, and our right foot is back. Good. And drop the left hand, lift the right arm, good. And now we're going to travel to the left. Right, leading with that left foot, right. Now as we switch sides, keep that left foot forward, cross that left foot over, drop the right arm. So we're switching arms, but not switching feet. Good. And switch sides again. And, left, right. Practice in front of a mirror so you don't get a lot of bobbing up and down. You want to keep your isolation nice and clean. Good. Double time, left, right. As you go faster, keep the weight on the balls of your feet. You don't have to be way up on releve, you don't have to be way up on your toes, but just floating across the floor, with the weight forward on the balls of your feet. Good, excellent. Practice that, and soon you'll be floating across the dance floor in no time at all.
