"You know, consumer fireworks can add a lot of fun and excitement to any party or holiday event. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni, with over three decades of fire fighting, hazardous materials, and emergency medical response experience. What I'm going to talk about is one of the general safety guidelines when it comes to igniting the consumer firework. The ignition area should be well established, away from buildings, and other people, and other combustibles. That ignition area should be well lit during the lighting or ignition of every firework. Something like this common LED flashlight could be used to light up the area each and every time that a fuse is lit. This will enable a safer launch area, and an area that is free of burn type potential injuries, and explosive type potential injuries. Fireworks should be lit one at a time, and the area should be kept clear of other unused fireworks. Again, something like this simple LED flashlight can make a much safer party and holiday event at the launch site area. Stay safe. I'm Captain Joe Bruni, and we'll see ya' next time."
