"You know, legal consumer fireworks can add a lot of fun and excitement during parties and holiday seasons. Hi, I'm Captain Joe Bruni, with over three decades of fire fighting, hazardous materials, and emergency medical response experience. What we're going to talk about is some common safety guidelines when it comes to legal consumer fireworks. One of those guidelines involves horseplay or boisterous conduct. At no time should horseplay or boisterous conduct be permitted by the users or by the person designated as the ignition person or the shooter. If this type of behavior takes place it should be put a stop to immediately. It would also serve to appoint somebody as a safety person to supervise the lighting of fireworks, that's uninvolved with the actual ignition and use of these consumer legal fireworks. Horseplay and boisterous conduct has resulted in many burn injuries and blast injuries over the years in the United States. I'm Captain Joe Bruni. Stay safe, and we'll see ya' next time."
