"You know, consumer fireworks can add a great deal of fun and excitement to any party or holiday event. Hi! I'm Captain Joe Bruni with over three decades of firefighting and emergency medical service experience. Consumer fireworks when purchased can add a lot of fun to any gathering or holiday event. One of the first things that you want to do upon purchase of consumer types of fireworks is read the directions or cautions and warnings labels that happen to come with each individual firework. Each varies as to what it is capable of doing, and how it functions. You need to be aware of each individual firework and what is going to make it work. For instance, emits showers of sparks, use only under close adult supervision, for outdoor use only, place on a level surface do not hold in hand, light fuse and get away. By reading the caution and direction label on this firework, it not only tells me what the firework is capable of doing, but how it functions and the safety aspects of the associated firework. I'm Captain Joe Bruni, stay safe and we'll see you next time."
