"Hi, this is John, and this is how to put the poles on the tent so you can raise the tent up. Once you've got your tent laid out, and your poles put together, it's time to put the poles into the tent to where you can raise the tent. There will be two types of clips that you put the tent poles on. The first one is going to be a pin, that you insert over the pole, and then you push it in there. The other, is your going to have an eyelet, and the end of the pole will insert into the eyelet and go to a certain point and stop. Those are the two types of pole clips that you'll find for setting up your tent. Once you insert one end, you then take and bend the pole, if it is a bungeed one, or a stronger metal one, you just take and put it to its other attachment point. You can lay these down if you have yourself doing this, or it's nicer if you have another person there to help you out. Once you've got the second pole up, by doing the same steps, inserting it into one clip, and then inserting it into the other, you can come up to the top center, tie them off, normally they come with a rope that you can tie them off to where they stay standing at that point, and then you can go into raising your tent. And this is how to set the poles up in the tent."
