"Hi, my name's John Stewart, and this is how to lay out the tent when setting up your tent. When you lay out the tent on the ground, you want to make sure you lay it out in the flattest possible area and a clear area so that you don't put any jagged edges across the bottom of it to possibly tear it. You also want to lay it out, unfold it all the way out, stretch it, get everything laid out fine to where you can put it right up when you do insert the poles. When you do lay it out, you do want to check for a few things, this is a great time to inspect your tent to make sure there's nothing wrong with it, you can check for rips, tears, holes, burns, anything like that. You might find a weak spot that might need to be fixed now so that it doesn't break or worsen during the middle of the night. This is also the best time to stake out your tent if you want to, this stretches it out to where it's not moving around when you do go to insert the poles. Make sure you also, when you do lay out your tent, you don't lay it in any water. This is really bad for the tent, it will saturate it and then pull up into your tent. And this is how to lay out the tent for setting up your tent."
