"Hi, I'm Ginger Walker, owner of Clean Junkies, and today we're going to demonstrate how to acid wash your jeans if you so desire. This was something that was very popular in the 80's, what was otherwise known as snow white jeans. But again, today you know, we like our pants to look worn, and so it's something that you could do. It is quite dangerous. You're using some really industrial strength chlorine, or an acid, and so if you like that look the best way to to achieve that is to buy them at the store, but if you really do want to take it on, what you'll need is a pumice stone, you'll need some industrial strength chlorine. Of course, you're going to want to wear some rubber gloves, and and make sure you don't get it on your skin. What you'll do is you take your jeans, lay them out. I would lay them out on towel that you don't care about, cause it's going to bleach that as well. You're going to soak your stone in the industrial strength chlorine. You're going to leave that soaking for about ten minutes, get it nice and saturated. Once that's all saturated, you're going to take your stone with your gloves on, and you're just going to rub it down. You can do circular patterns; however you want to do it, and what it's going to do is really wear down that jean, and give it a nice worn work. So you're just continuing to do that until you have the desired effect. You could just do it on the knees. You can do it on the entire leg, you know, just a few spots here and there if you'd like. Something like that can be done if if you wish."
