"Hi, I'm Ginger Walker, owner of Clean Junkies. We're going to talk about how to do laundry, and wash your clothes with baking soda and water. Baking soda has so many uses. I'm sure you've heard of all the different uses, that it can be used for. Gets out odors. Can be used as a stain treater, pre-treater. You can use it as a detergent. You can sprinkle it on the carpet before you vacuum, and it just gives you a good, clean, fresh scent. So if you were going to make a pre-treater, you would just add a little bit of baking soda. A little bit of water to our baking soda here. Make a paste. Just stir it up with your finger, is fine, so it's going to be toothpaste like consistency here. Once you get that all mixed up, you'll go ahead and put it on the stain. Rub it in really good. Give it a few little friction rubs, and you can let that sit for a little while, as well, so that's a pre-treater with baking soda. Another thing you can do, is your just going to put it right in your cup, and you can do this in the sink with hand washing, or you can use the machine. Either way, whatever way you want to do that. Go ahead and put it in there. Just like a powdered detergent, it's nothing special, and that's all you're going to use, as your baking soda. Again, the benefits to that are, you've got your odor control, and it takes the odors out. It makes things really soft as well. My hands right now are really soft. The other thing that it does is whitens your whites, so that's another thing that you can use baking soda for."
