Probably you must know or somebody has told you that the government has some funds to be set on some specific issues, like housing, education. If person wants to start a small business or if they have been a victim of disaster, and they want to rebuild their houses or their life basically. There's some special programs and funds from the government. And it's going to be useful if you have all these resources just in case you happen to be in this situation or looking for information. So if you are looking for a grant, a government grant, you can search this website which is grants.gov, and here you're going to find several information depending on what's the reason, why you are trying to apply for this grant. There's also a phone number that is 1-800-518-4726, and again this is in case you are looking for any grant from the government. Here you're going to be able to research if there are any existing grants that you can apply for according to your situation. If you are trying to get a loan from the government, the government has also several types of loans where you can access through govloans.gov. This is the website where you can have and find more information of the loans available through the government. Specifically through for housing and education and small businesses, sometimes these government loans are also offered through the banks. So if you happen to go to any financial institution or bank or credit unions, you can also ask if they have any special programs from the government that they can offer, just for you to compare. But you're going to find also all this information through the website that I gave before, govloans.gov. If you are trying to apply for a scholarship, because you are studying, you can login into studentaid.gov. Here you're going to have all the information of the scholarships available right now, and the criteria how what you will need to fulfill in order to see if you're going to be able to apply for this kind of loans or scholarships or grants."
