"Hi, my name is Maria Enomoto from Consumer Credit Counseling Service, and today we're going to know how to obtain your credit score. The score is the number, the magic number, that shows the creditors how you are doing with your credit history. So, basically it's good for you to have both, the credit report and the credit score. Now, you can get your credit report for free once a year, through the website, annualcreditreport.com. This is the only authorized website, to get a credit report for free, once a year, from each of the three credit report agencies. Now, this credit report, when you pulled it, it doesn't have, it doesn't come with a score, but you're going to be able to buy it. Sometimes it doesn't, it doesn't cost more than six or seven dollars, per score. And you're going to see that each agency is going to have a different score, because they calculate score in a different ways. But they're going to be close enough, OK. So, you can go through annualcreditreport.com, get your credit report, and then see if, there's going to be a link where you can get your score. Or, if you prefer not to use that website, you can contact any of the three major credit, credit report agencies, Equifax, Experion, and TransUnion, and buy your credit report on line, plus the score."
