"Hi, this is John Stewart and this is how to make a spear stick to where you can use it for fishing, cooking, and other things. OK. Spear sticks are very easy to make. Just find a longer stick, you you're going to have to have knife or a rock with a sharp edge to where you can take and whittle it down to a point. OK. You want to get it a real sharp point so that it can stick through it, stuff. Fish, if you're trying to fish with it, OK. Like I said, it's got many uses, most common is fishing. If you can find a slow moving stream that you see fish in, care you up a spear stick, walk out there, wade in the water, and then just wait for a fish to come by. You have to be real, real still and real patient. Wait for a fish to get close and jab at the fish, and hopefully you can spear to fish to where you can have some food. You can use this for cooking. You catch your fish, catch something else, clean it, you can take and lay it on this skewer it to where you can put this over the fire, to where you can roast it, spin it around where you can cook your food really well. So this is one of the purposes and uses for the spear stick, and but mainly, this is how to build a spear stick."
