"Hi this is John Stewart and this is how you can make and tie your own lasso trap for small animals with a shoe lace. Ok you're always going to have a shoe lace on you, if you are having to survive out in nature and look for food, easiest way to do it is to trap and kill it. Ok one way of doing this is the lasso trap. What you got to do for this is find a shoe lace find a tall, a branch or something that's low lying on the ground and find it near some animal tracks. If you can find a path where you regularly see animal tracks and stuff, put your lasso trap right in the center of that trail, where they can come through and hopefully your trap will catch them. The trap is very easy to make like I said have a shoe lace, you're going to have a couple of little branches that you can stick in the ground to prop up the loop, to where they can run through it. Pretty much it's a slip knot and knot to where they run through it they hopefully run through it, it catches them and then they're caught in it around the neck or get tangled up in it through their legs. So lasso trap, very basic easy to make up and can catch you a lot of food. This is how to make and use a lasso trap when surviving in nature."
