"Hi. This is John Stewart and this is how to know your camping location. If you're planning a trip before you need to go you need to get maps and other resources to know about that area. When you're looking at a map before you go in to the woods or to a camp ground, you need to know your surroundings. Look at a map and other books and resources to find out what's around you. Find out where the local police station is or emergency service. Look for roads, anything like that that surrounds your camping area or the state park you're in. And then you also want to look for other medical stations, ranger stations and find out and try and remember what direction those places are in. You might go to a camp ground that's very, very primitive, but you also know that three miles to the east of that camp ground there's a major highway that there's normally a lot of cars going by and someone can easily help you there in the case that you got lost. So you always want to look and know about these things before you go on your camping trip. They'll help you in the long run in case you do run in to an emergency. And this is how to know where you're camping."
