"Hi, this is John Stewart and this is how to use the sun to find north or find your directions. If you get lost and you need to find your way, you can easily use the sun in the case that you don't have a compass. If you wake up really early in the morning, for fine sunrise, you just have to know that the sun rises in the east, okay. So if you need to go east just walk toward the sun rises and that's going to be east. It's not directly east, but it will get you in the way you need to go. It also sets in the west, opposite of where it rises. So if you need to go west, just wait until dark and sun set and you can walk in that direction. Mid day it's a little more difficult to find your way, but you have to remember, you have to also remember that it's rises in the east and sets in the west. So you have to put those two together to be able to find north and south in that scenario, okay. So this is how you use the sun to find north."
