"Here we're going to take major seven a step further. This will be an augmented major seven. Essentially a combination of augmented and major seven. Let's go back to the A chord here. Now we took our duplicate A note. We had two A's, the open A and this A on the second fret of the G string. We move this down from the eight the Octave down to the seven so now we've got a major seven chord. Augmented we said was raising the five by one fret so our five is and E here. We want to raise that up one fret and now we've got augmented major seven. Now you got to be careful because you also have an E that's an open string up here. You have to make sure that all of the E's not just one of them move up so we also have to move this open E up here up to the first fret. Augmented major seven."
