"Today we're here to show you a few BMX tricks. This is the very basic wheelie. Boy, I feel weird doing that one. The thing about the wheelie is it's a very old school trick, and when you do it these days a lot of people ask questions. But the trick to the wheelie is counter-balancing the back of your body and the front end of your bike, kind of making a pyramid; an upside down pyramid. Now, you want to approach it with a little bit of speed, applying torque to your to your pedals. The torque is what keeps the front end up, but keeping your back end balanced is what keeps it very straight. Just need a little tiny bit of speed, pull the front end up, and pedal; just keeping that back end a little bit level. That's the secret to the to the wheelie."
