"Hi, my name is Mike Quebec, and today's subject is how to speed up your metabolism. Speeding up your metabolism means, basically gearing up your body to burn as many calories as possible. FIrst thing, and it's very important, a lot of people don't realize this, is the vast majority of people who are overweight actually tend to skip breakfast. That's right, most people who are overweight don't eat breakfast and, at that point, their body starts starving, and craving throughout the day. In which case, you tend to eat more at night, and you tend to eat more than your acquired intake because your body is just starving for nourishment at that point. So, first and foremost, make sure you eat breakfast. Second, is make sure that you're moving around throughout the day. You know, get some, a lot of exercise, especially a lot of cardiovascular exercise. Running, rope, cardio kick boxing, anything that gets your heart rate going and gets your body moving at a fast pace especially high impact moves. High impact aerobics is perfect for that. So, that's the second thing, and third and very important, eat a lot, and eat frequently low calorie healthy foods. So, low calorie foods are some of the most obvious ones would be like, celery, any kind of, any kind of vegetable, and kind of fruit. Proteins, very good for you, that are fish, very lean meats, and I would say lean meats, yes you can eat beef provided that it's ninety nine percent fat free, very lean. Low calorie foods will really help you speed up your metabolism. So let me say that again. Eat breakfast, work out, I mean exercise, particularly high impact aerobic exercise, cardiovascular exercise, and eat healthy, low calorie foods, and then you will speed up your metabolism. Finally, make sure you get enough sleep. Thank you."
