"My name is Wes Rhodes, I'm from the Chinese Kung Fu Academy and for Expert Village this is praying mantis fighting technique outside block round kick. So this technique is using the same block, using the forearm, catching with the mantis claw. As you do this technique, you're going to step to the side getting out of the way of their attack. Pick the right knee up and strike with the shin, or the top of the foot. Doing it slow looks like this, so one, two a little faster, good. To demonstrate it, as the attacker punches with the right hand, you're going to step to the side and block, getting yourself out of the way of the technique. Grab, pick the knee up, drive the knee into the chest or the solar plexus. As you do this, you can actually pull with the right hand to increase the impact. Do it slow, one, two a little bit faster, one, two. Just like so. Now this technique can be practiced either on the left side, or the right side, but you make sure as you step and you block, that you have to get your head out of the way. Aim with the knee and follow through with the hip as you do the kick. Again, this is what it looks like on the left. One, two. This is how it looks on the right, one, two. To show one more time. One, two. And then try the other side, one, two, just like so. That's how you perform the mantis fighting style outside block round kick."
