"My name is Wes Rhodes, I'm from the Chinese Kung Fu Academy and for Expert Village, and this is how you perform praying mantis fighting technique outside block groin kick. Now this is a technique using the outside block and a retreating step. You're going to block and as you step back you lift the knee straighten the foot and hit with either the top of the foot or the shin. Most groin kick techniques, the goal is to actually pick the person up off the ground. You aim to try to connect the foot to their head through their groin. So I'll show you slowly it looks like this: one two. Kind of fast it goes one two. To demonstrate, as they step in and punch with the right, you step back, pick the right foot up hit the groin. One more, one two. And one kind of quick, see it's one two just like that. And obviously I'm not killing him, but the idea again is just to pick your foot up all the way through their head, aiming with either the top of the foot or the shin, and keeping a nice stable stance with the left leg. That's how you perform the praying mantis fighting technique, outside block groin kick."
