"My name is Wesley Rhodes, from the Chinese Kung Fu Academy and for Expert Village and this is how you perform the Praying Mantis Ape Stance. Now this stance is kind of like a Horse Stance. You start out feet twice shoulder distance apart. The difference now is you're going to actually take the right foot, pick it up on the toes. Sit really, really low on the left side, keeping the back straight. This stance is more of a one legged stance and its use for mobility, for defensive and encountering techniques. You see it, on my left side, my heel up, you can see sideways, sit, pick the heel up. See the other side, weight on the right leg, pick the left toe up, sit low to the ground. You can see it this way. Back straight, sit, lower to the ground. One of the ways you can use this technique; this is the start, you move forward to attack and back, sitting low. And that's how you perform the Praying Mantis Ape Stance."
