"Hi, I'm Stan DeFreitas, "Mr. Green Thumb", for On Gardening. Talking about the earth box, talking about planting eggplants. Everybody likes eggplants. These are called little finger eggplants. And you can see this eggplant has one bad little leaf, and if you have a bad leaf on the plant just simply come in with your little cutter, in this case a razor, cut it off, it's not doing you any good once the plant starts to turn yellow, and get rid of it. Now when you take your area, cut your little hole, put your area into the earth box through the material and then you can be ready to plant your eggplant into that area. When we do plant it in there, if it is root bound, gently pull those roots apart off the little seedling plant thats been started, will be root bound. You can see these roots are nice and white and healthy. Plant it about the same depth level that it was growing in the little four pack before. And you can probably get these to harvest in about 65 days; from the time that you put them in here to the time you're ready to harvest, should be about 65 days. Make sure they get about 6 hours of bright sun a day, and also make sure you're not putting them in until after frost free weather. For On Gardening, I'm Stan DeFreitas, "Mr. Green Thumb"."
