"Hello, I'm Sifu Mallon with the Clearwater Kung Fu Center. This is Kung Fu health. We're going to be learning a jump kick, this jump kick is called our three count jump side kick. The three count meaning that there's three movements involved in the kick. I'm going to demonstrate it slowly for you so that you can see each movement broken down clearly. The starting position is feet together. First of the count is one, you're going to start with your left foot forward and swing your arms back, second move is your right knee is going to come up, your body is going to turn, and both hands are going to come over your head, this is the jumping part, two. Three is your arms are going to separate giving you a counterbalance in the air and you're going to fire your right leg off into side kick. You're going to retract the leg, land softly into final position. Again, one more time slow, broken down for you to see. One is the step, two I'm going to perform a small hop so that you can see the angle and the lift of the knees and arms together, two. Three will be the counterbalance and kick and then land. Do it again, fast, normal speed for you. Again. One last time. This is the three count side kick, Kung Fu for health."
