"Hello, I'm Sifu Mallon with the Clearwater Kung Fu Center. This is my assistant, Melissa, and this is Kung Fu for Health, shoulder warm-ups. The next shoulder warm-up that we're going to go ahead and do today is we're going to start with our feet shoulder width apart and we're going to bring both hands in front of us. Now you'll find that this is going to really open up your chest and your upper back. Your hands are going to go in a vertical motion. One's going to go up, one's going to go straight back. You're going to bring your hands up, left hand up, right hand back. At this point you want to feel like you're yawning, right? So you want to really pull back and reach and extend. Bring the hands up a little bit and relax and then same motion again back. Very good. Bring them straight forward, cross, and now right hand goes up, left hand goes down vertically. Pull like your yawn, right, two, and then you're going to repeat this motion, nice and relaxed, several times and continue. Good, keep going. Now again, you want to make sure you get a full range of motion. Alright, and as you continue to practice this exercise you'll find that your range of motion will increase. You'll find this is very good for opening up your chest and your upper back as well. Make sure to keep the hands in fists, and once you've kind of done it a few times you can really warm up and you start moving a little bit quicker with the exercise. I'll show it just a little bit more vigorously. And this is how we warm up our exercise for Kung Fu for Health."
