"When should you use aromatherapies? You can use aromatherapies pretty much any time. Sometimes if you are going to take a bath and you want to have a good nights sleep you can use certain aromatherapies to help you sleep better and again if you get a book and read about different kinds of essential oils and what to use and how to blend them you can learn what kinds of things to use to have a better night's sleep. You can use aromatherapies for cold, flu, if you have sore muscles, you can actually use aromatherapies for bug bites and bee stings. If you have lavender oil or tea tree oil all you do is you just put one drop neat directly from the essential oil on to your skin where the bug bite is and it will help with the swelling tremendously. Tea tree oil is even better for this purpose. You can use aromatherapies if you are just relaxing at home. You can put them into a diffuser, you can put them in your bath, they're just wonderful and you can pretty much use them any time. You can also use aromatherapies for, you can use them to perk yourself up. This one is actually what I call a refresher, it is a product that I make and it is primarily water and peppermint oil and it is amazing. If you are feeling a little bit sleepy and you don't want to take any caffeine you can actually just spray it on yourself, you can spray it into your environment and peppermint oil will really perk you up and make you feel more alert and that is a very natural way that you can use something like that. If you want to make, this is a tiny little spritzer that basically you can carry in your purse or in your pocket. This is a foot bath and you can also use aromatherapies when you take a foot bath. As I mentioned you can use them in the bath and an easy way to do that is you get some, this is an essential oil product, it is basically bath salts and lavender. You can make your own. You can just take some essential oils and you put some drops into your foot bath. If you are going to take a bath you will put more drops in and we'll talk about that in another section and then you can just add some salts. These are some Epsom Salts and you can just add them straight into the bath into your foot bath or your bath and that is a great way to use aromatherapies and so using them you know when you want to relax, using them when you want to perk up, using them when you want to be in a happier mood. Another interesting thing is eucalyptus for example will give you a sense of space and different essential oils will, aromatherapies will give you different kinds of moods or feelings that you can enjoy and so if you put a little eucalyptus into your bath it gives you more of that spa feeling and gives you a sense of space so those are some times that you can use aromatherapies."
